Delivery Details

We use your postcode to decide your delivery options. Delivery is free on orders over £40 in the Chew Valley and Bristol areas. We no longer offer a courier service to the rest of Mainland UK due to costs. See below for full list of postcodes we cover. Delivery is between 7am and 7pm on the day – at this time we are unable to offer timed deliveries. If there are any special instructions on where to leave your box, please add them during checkout. Note that payment for subscription boxes is taken two days before delivery.

To qualify for free delivery there is a minimum spend of £40, otherwise a delivery charge of £12.95 to apply.

Ordering Details

There’s a minimum 48 hour turnaround between order and delivery.   At the moment due to high demand we are only delivering Tuesday to Saturday. Please chose your delivery day at the checkout.

Insulated Boxes – in case you’re out.
Our normal service is to supply your meat in an insulated box which will keep it cool for at least 24 hours.  However due to Cornonavirus we are unable to get these boxes so will be delivering in a cardboard box and dropping off.  We don’t charge for the boxes, so you also help the environment by leaving your previous box out for us, we will gladly recycle them for you. You’re also welcome to leave out your own cool box. If you’re going to do that, please add to the delivery note.

Note, all meat is delivered fresh and is suitable for home freezing as needed.

Postcode List
We currently deliver free to the following postcodes on orders over £40. If you live very close to one of these areas, you can always get in touch to see if we can add your area to the list.

  • Chew Valley and South Bristol: BS39, BS40, BS41, BS48 and BS49.
  • Bristol: BS1 – 11, BS13 – BS16, BS30, BS34 and BS99
  • Weston & Worle: BS20 – BS26

Whilst every reasonable effort is made to keep to any delivery date and time, as a small business we can’t be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any requested delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Cancellation and Refunds
You are able to cancel your order up to 24 hours prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. You can cancel an order by emailing us on If you are not satisfied with your meat after delivery for any reason, please contact us within 7 days and we will usually be able to arrange a full and prompt refund.

Subscription Boxes

When you order one of our Subscription Boxes you can select whether you’d like it delivered on Wednesdays or Fridays and whether you receive it fortnightly or every four weeks. You’ll be prompted to enter your card details during checkout and these will be stored securely by our payment gateway Stripe. We do not have access to this data.

How Do I Cancel My Box?

If you need to cancel your repeat box at any time, login to your account page, find the order and click on the cancel button. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact us via email

Can I Adjust The Box Contents?

I’m afraid that the contents of our boxes are set, but you can add notes to your order if you’d like to switch things for the same value every now and then.

What if I need to take a holiday?

Please email us at (with at least week’s notice) to let us know and we won’t deliver you a box until you’re back so that nothing goes to waste.
