As we approach the new year, I would like to invite you to reflect and set a Word of the Year—a guiding theme for your personal and health journey. For me, that word is Regeneration: a renewed vision for the world, rooted in creating transformative change, a vision for a time on planet Earth when human beings live a thriving existence in harmony, co-creation and reciprocity with the Earth, food, land, water, air and financial sovereignty is established for all. We want to share the land and allow the next generation, especially children, to be free to shine as their most radiant selves, ignited in their passion and purpose, and activated in their unique gifts. That’s really encompassing all of the individual projects that can come underneath the vision of Regeneration.

How amazing would it be to have that vision for the land, the future of community that we live in. I attended and spoke at a conference called Land Alive at the Bath & West show ground, a new event, designed to raise these important questions we all need to pose ourselves about the future of the planet.   It was an interesting and encouraging day with quite a range of people, it was great to know that it wasnt a conference hall full of the converted, quite a few conventional farmers wanting to know more about regenerative practices.

Our talk covered how the hospitality world  could get more ecologically grown food into the industry. What shifts of mindset are needed, perhaps smaller menus with only seasonal food choices or interactive menus for that matter with QR codes that take you to pictures and information about the farmer that the restauranteur are supporting, perhaps one day the farmer will become as famous as the celebrity chefs that we all love and adore for feeding us such delicious food. We explored the ways that chefs and food businesses are building more sustainable food systems, the links between the climate and biodiversity, and the finance that is needed to scale solutions.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the support of our members who made this year possible. And if you want to join us and help us dream even bigger in 2025, I hope you will become a subscriber, Story Farm customer, Valley Fest member or a Nature’s Spectacular lover. Look out for our news and latest offers as we cant wait to share more of our farm and our regenerative future with you.

Together, we can grow a healthier planet and healthier lives…
