Happy New Year!

We hope you have had a wonderful time with your loved ones over the festive period and like us are looking forward to an exiting year ahead.

As if running the farm and producing sustainable meat isn’t enough we are looking at partnering with more enterprises to bring you some exciting products. This year we’re committed to sharing more practical tips and expert advice with our community to help you start making the big health and well being changes in 2024.  We are planning some interesting events across the year, from Fire in your Soul to Valley Fest to a brand new event called Sacred Wild Festival where we hope to take people on a journey towards a regenerative future.

We look forward to reconnecting with you all and hopefully MEATING you soon, pardon the pun.

Here’s your meaty dose of what grabbed my attention this week:

I was delighted to read this new research about how eating meat + dairy products from grazing animals such as cows and sheep can positively affect our health, uplevel our immunity and even fight cancer.

At The Story Farms all our cattle and sheep are grazed on various grasses, herbs and forbs all year round.

How do we create more demand for regenerative food?

Tina has the entire answer in less than 90 seconds ⬇️

“We need to stop expecting to enrol people in a values movement in order to engage them in purchasing behaviours based on their own critical needs.”

Drop the microphone!

“The consumer is not only here but has been here for years – waiting for additional solutions to come to market, and regenerative agriculture offers that sweet spot.”

I hope to one day be half as articulate as Tina Owens!!

This whole episode with Koen van Seijen & Investing in Regenerative Agriculture and Food is SO GOOD.

Podcasts I’ve been listening to:

Zach bush, MD on the science & spirituality of human and planetary transformation

Having had a meeting with Farmers Footprint UK I have been even more inspired to dive deep into the world of Regeneration and understanding that if we don’t reconnect with nature, we will just destroy it again.

Thank you to all our customers for supporting The Story Farms over the past year.

We wish you and your families all a prosperous 2024

Hope to see you all soon

Your Farmer, Luke
