Wow another month passed by in a blink, yet again the wettest on record but finally I sit writing this basked in sunshine, thank goodness it has finally arrived. I was hoping to write this months update with news of spring sunshine and glorious grass growth for the new born calves to be put out to pasture. Alas it is still raining and very much impossible to even think about livestock returning to the farm fields. Another month of biblical rainfall demonstrates the significance of soil health in the face of this exceptional period of time. This year with my ambition to become a better advocate for regenerative farming I will be focusing on evidencing the efficacy of interventions that deliver on improved soil health and compaction.
